The State Fair

We headed to the State Fair on Thursday. They have the cutest place called "Little Hands on the Farm". Children get to do everything a farmer has to do. Etta had so much fun. Gibson just slept the whole time.

Fun little face in it thingies.

Etta has her basket. Now she goes and takes an egg for the Hen house.
Time to pick some apples for the orchard.

Planting her veggies.

Harvest time, those veggies grow fast.

Riding the tractor to get some hay to feed the animals.

Brushing down the sheep, and collecting the wool. (Etta hated touching the wool)

With a cow you first need to feed them,

Then you can milk them. Etta really didn't understand what she was doing but it was so cute.

Once you took your egg, fruit, veggies, wool and milk to the market to sell them. They gave you fake money to go buy something at the general store. They had candy, chips, cookies and fruit. Our cute little Etta went straight to the apples, picked one up and took a big bite. Then we went and paid for it. I had so much fun going through the farm with her.

Andy and Etta went down the fun big yellow slide together. Then we headed to the livestock and Etta loved the live animals. She gave the little goats a kiss, patted the pigs and mooed at the cows. The last fun activity was riding the pony.

She rode the pony all by herself. She is such a big girl.

Next year Gibson will have fun too instead of sleeping the whole time in the stroller.

Just before we left we walked through the carnival area. Andy and I shot paintball guns at stacked jars. Andy of course knocked them all over and another time knocked two off the table. So he won a medium wolf and a cute fish. What a great daddy winning prizes for his children.
