Steel Days in American Fork

July 19th American Fork, where I grew up, had their annual Steel Days Parade. My sisters go each year and so the kids and I headed down for the celebration. They had a great spot for us and we all enjoyed the floats, cars, and people walking in the parade.

Great little spot with most of my family

Getting ready for the parade to start

Etta just wanted her picture taken as always.

Gibby started by Grandma than I gave him a water bottle, He stood up using the elephant chair for support, put the water in the chair holder and then proceeded to climb in the chair. He was so happy to accomplish his little task.

1. Water Bottle 2. Using the tongue to help put it in the holder

3. just right 4. now I can relax

Etta than kicked him out of "HER" chair so she could watch the parade. He enjoyed watching it on the blanket.

Etta loved watching the parade and trying to get the candy but her two favorite parts where;

1. The Bees float and Bumble riding behind in the Van

2. The Princesses

After the parade we hit up the Carnival. Thanks to some nice ticket donations, Riley and Kaydee, Etta was able to ride 4 rides. The carousel was her favorite but she also hit up the dragon roller coaster, Indiana Jones fun house and motorcycle merry go round. When the tickets ran out we played on the free playground in the middle of the Carnival.

Crossing the moving bridge, It took Etta forever.

Riding the Motorcycles, Etta kept saying "Just like Daddy's"

Playground slides are always so much fun.

We had a great time until Etta said she needed to go potty. We search the whole Carnival and finally asked someone. We were about 50 yards away and Etta said "Oh no". I looked down and she had diarrhea all over her legs and shoes. Not a happy mommy. We went behind a building in the shade and wiped her down with wet wipes, water from our water bottles and soap from the port-a-potties. We headed home after that. Thanks to my sisters for the fun day.
