Radio Disney

Last Wednesday I took the kids to the Gallivan Center with my good friend Catherine and her kids. Radio Disney had put together a fun little music and carnival for kids of all ages. There was a fun bounce house, face painting (extremely long line, we skipped this), they had some spiders and a big snake and fun little booths to do little science experiments. Plus, music and water.

The girls loved the bounce house of course and played there for a while. It was really busy but we mangaed to watch a fun science experiment and have a chance to look at the spider and snake. The next favorite spot was posters of Snow White, Mickey Mouse and the 7 Dwarfs. It was crazy how posters of these three characters got so much attention, you would have thought they were the real characters. Etta wanted pictures with all of them and even got a little mad when Gibby tried to touch Mickey Mouse.

We hit the water last knowing the kids would get all wet. They had the Fire truck and fire men there spraying everyone with the fire hose. Etta and Emily would walk out slowly to the grass and then the fireman would spray the grass right in front of them so the water sprayed up and sprinkled them. Then they would giggle and run away. I think the fireman had just as much fun as they did. They also have a water area that just splashes water. Gibby wanted to out at this point and loved the water splashing everywhere.
