The Arts Festival

We went to the Arts Festival the last weekend in June. We love going and eating all the great food, see the amazing things people can make and listening and dancing to the fun music.
The first thing we did when we got there was get some food. This year we tried a local place. Andy ordered the fish n chips and I got a fish wrap. They weren't the best. So we washed them down with some Teriyaki Chicken.
We headed to the Children's Zone. Best little place ever. They had tons of crafts, music and arts set up for the children to play. We spent most of our time here. Andy showed Etta how to play a few instruments. Gibby made a little noise maker which he loved until he got a hold of Etta's plant bead gourd. The last thing Etta made was a colored CD which she hung with all the other items of Art to create a large community Art Sculpture.

We now started walking around all the wonderful booths. Andy and Etta's favorite was a wood carver who make rocking bike's. They were pretty awesome and Etta got to try one out.

We were ready for some music and dancing. They had some pretty fun bands playing everywhere. We listened to a few. Gibby and Etta where bouncing to the beat non stop. We found a fun little splashing water area and then headed off to the main stage and danced ourselves dry. With Etta swinging her little hips and jumping up and down you can't help but join in on the dancing. Gibby loved bouncing and then dancing in mommy's arms.

After dancing to some great southern rock we headed back home. The minute we pulled out of the parking spot and stopped at the first traffic light both kids were out.
We had a blast and will be looking forward to more in the future.

Excuse me, who's the tough chick in that last picture with the killer biceps? Trace, you look so ripped! I'm just glad we're friends because if we're together and anyone tried to pick a fight with us, you're gonna whip their butt! The Art Festival looked like a blast! It makes me want to go next year. As always the kids look so cute! I'm glad you had a fun day!

You guys looked like you had a great time. I love going to those types of festivals. It's fun and relaxing. Etta looked like she was having the time of her life.
