Playing in the Snow on New Years Day

We woke up on up on New Years Day and turned on the Rose Parade. I love the Rose Parade. As we were watching our friends Dave and Stacy called and asked if we wanted to go play on their four wheelers. We got loaded up gear, kids and ourselves and headed out.
We had so much fun playing around in the mud and snow. After a hour or two we headed out to an unknown location somewhere in Vernon. We did take a detour and saw a darling little town called Ophir once at the end of town the road was no longer plowed and we had to drive through town again.
We played around at the reservoir in Vernon. Andy and Dave jumped a ton, I did try it a couple of times and Stacy got some great air on her jumps. On our way back to the truck we ran into a suburban stuck in the mud. We tried for a bit with the 4 wheelers but in the end it was Dave's killer tuck that pulled them out in less then 5 seconds.
When we got back to Dave and Stacy's Etta and Gibby were happy to see us. Gibby was sick and we headed home with a naked little boy wrapped in my sweater.

Below are the pics showing how much fun Andy and Dave where having on two jumps over and over again.

Looks like fun! My extended family has a family reunion every year in ophir. My great great grandparents (or something like that) founded it and took their cattle there every year for feeding. How fun that you saw it.
