Playing around in Idaho

Last weekend we headed up to Idaho to see some really great family. We our their adopted family. We just love them and hadn't seen them since Gibby was just born. The drive up was nice and quick. Etta got bored until she found her camera and mommy's camera and took over a dozen pictures. Some pretty good others not so good.

Pictures of Daddy doing all the driving!

Etta's cute pictures of her feet.

When we arrived the kids hugged, kissed and played a bit with Grandma Jodi and Grandpa Blair and then they were out.

(this is with Etta's new Camera)

The next morning bright and early Andy and Grandpa Blair where out working and being farmers! They put up posts and guards to finish a shed for Blair.

The Kids and I went exploring and found some fun cows in the back barn. Grandma Jodi joined us for a bit and then we went into town for some yummy treats and dinner food. When we got back it was back outside for some sliding and swinging.

Taking a picture of the cows. Etta's new camera takes great pictures now even if she didn't get any cows in the shot

Playing everywhere they have just the best land to explore and play

Gibby went to sleep early and Grandpa Blair hooked the tractor up for a great little ride to see all the cows. Their dog Tessa came with us and the mama cows didn't like it at all. They were chasing and trying to scare off Tessa while trying to protect their babies. They were so close that I was holding tight to Etta and being just as protective to my baby.

Off we go

Daddy opening the gate for the tractor. I love this shot of Grandpa Blair in his tractor and the cows in view.

Once Gibby woke up we eat lunch and then went in the hot tub. Etta and Gibby loved it because it was so warm and made bubbles (the jets). Andy and I loved it too!

The kiddos working themselves into the warm water.

I just love their place

Since Gibby missed the first tractor ride we were off for another after the hot tub. Grandma Jodi came with us this time and on the way back Etta got to drive the tractor. We went in 3 circles before Grandpa Blair helped her steer better. Gibby said mooo mooo the whole time.

Trying to see if Tessa will jump up on the trailer, nope she wanted to follow beside us. Grandma Jodi opening the gate for us

Great picture of Grandpa Blair, Grandma Jodi, Gibson, Etta and me

See how close we are to the cows, Gibby loved it!

Etta the tractor driver

It was still pretty great weather so we all played outside for a good hour or so. Daddy helped Gibby up the stairs for the slide. After a couple times down the slide, we were off to the swings. My kids favorite thing is the swings

Up you go Gibby. They both loved the attention from Andy and I swinging them.

Higher Mommy, Higher

Daddy teasing Gibby on his swings, Gibby would just laugh and laugh

Daddy and Gibby playing football

The next morning was a bit colder and we stayed inside. We played games and ate some yummy muffins and brownies(non-stop eating of the delicious brownies).

Gibby was so happy eating and sitting like a big boy. Etta loved playing every game they had.

Gibby enoyed sitting by the fireplace and watching "Handy Manny", just like his daddy

A cow escaped the barn and wouldn't go back in. Gibby would have sat outside all morning saying "MOOOO".

The cow was just chillin' in the backyard

Etta came outside and helped me pick a bunch of River rocks to bring home for my flowerbeds. She ended up exploring a bit more than helping.

We had just the best time up in Idaho and can't wait to go again. It will defiantly be again this year.

Andy and Jodi

Thanks for having us Blair and Jodi, we love you both!

St. Patrick's Day + Children's Museum = FUN

On St. Patrick's day we spent a fun day at the Children's Museum (I love that place). We met up with my good friend Brynn and her kids. I bumped into my darling friend Kim and couldn't believe how big her little boys are getting. We always seem to bump into each other at the fun activities we take are kids to.
Etta and Gibby had a blast like always and made some fun St. Patrick's day crafts. Well, I ended up making them and they added a bit of coloring.
Hope you all wore green and if not I hope you got pinched :)

They gave the kids special glasses to find leprechauns

Gibby at one of his favorite places, the water area

The toddler zone!

The kids love the toddler zone, a bit less crowded and more things at their own level

Playing around after lunch in the Helicopter, Etta trying to make a serious face

After lunch on the roof and the helicopter we headed inside for a fun Science experiment. They showed the kids how to make Leprechaun toothpaste.

The little Scientists

Etta looks just adorable in her protective goggles.

We took a fun class while we where there and Etta made a "Wocket in a Pocket"
