Etta's Birthday Moring!

Etta woke up on her birthday and Andy and I sang to her. She loved it. Then Daddy made his delicious eggs and ham (mommy does not make good eggs). She opened her fun presents from Grandma Donna and Papa Don. She loved the princess outfit. She immediately laid it down and told us the princesses on the outfit. She got a darling dress that she had to point out all the doggies and bows. Then she opened her Princess Snow White Doll ( we also had purchased that doll but thought Etta would love to get it from Grandma). She was so excited I almost started to cry.

Disney On Ice - Etta's Birthday

Friday we let Etta open one present a day early. It was tickets to Disney On Ice, Front Row Tickets! She was so happy about going that she went downstairs and got all her Disney on Ice books out to look at.
Etta was all dressed in her Snow White dress when Andy came home from work. Then we all got ready to go, and we headed off to dinner. We went to Tucano's. Etta and Gibby loved all the food servers and ate really good. Gibby LOVED the sweet BBQ chicken. He ate at least 3 full wings. We told the server it was Etta's Birthday and they all came over and sang to her. She was so cute trying to hide in the corner smiling. She loved the ice cream they brought her and you could tell she was on cloud 9!

It was now time to go to the ESA for some Disney On Ice. As we were walking over there a group of young girls were all dressed up in princess costumes. Etta was very excitied to see princesses and she just had to take her picture with... Snow White.

The show started at 7:30 and that is Gibby and Etta's bedtime so I was a little nervouse to see how they would do. They both did GREAT! Etta loved it of course and Gibby couldn't take his eyes off of Mickey Mouse and all the other skaters. We all had a great time. Once back in the truck both kids fell asleep and went to bed perfectly when we got home.

Bowling with Friends

Last Wednesday it snowed and snowed and snowed. It was a perfect time to go Bowling with our friends. We met up with Sarah, Sarah's niece, Sonny and Anni, Etta's little friend. They had gone bowling together last year at Anni's Birthday and both girls remember it like it was yesterday. Whenever we talked about bowling or drove past Fat Cats Etta would remind me that she had gone bowling there with Anni. Sarah had told me that Anni says the same thing. It was time to take them bowling together again.
We got there and ordered some food. Etta and Anni played while the rest of us ate and chatted. At first the girls needed help with their bowling balls until they told us "we can do it ourselves". They started being really funny and pushing the ball down with their heads. Etta would keep pushing the reset button which gave her three turns each time.
I grabbed my camera but it didn't have the memory card in it so I ended up with cell phone pictures.

We all had a great time. Gibby loved eating and watching the ball roll down the lane. He pushed it a couple of times and got really excited.

On our way out Etta and Anni took a picture in the photo booth. They did funny faces, smiles and hugs.

Then they both took their pictures, gave hugs and said good bye. We can't wait to go on another play date. Maybe next time it snows!

Halloween Fun!

We dressed up 3 times this year. Once for a party downtown(which wasn't very fun and too croweded), Library story time and Halloween Day!

Fridays we have a Musice Class and so we all dressed up for a Music Makers Halloween Party. We did fun little Halloween songs and dancing. Then we headed to the nursery for goodies and playing.

We headed over to Ebay with our friends Sarah, Kaniela, Anni(a little princess witch) and Sonny(a tiny little tiger). Etta and Anni are great little friends and loved following each other around to the different desks for candy. Gibson caught on to the concept really quickly and was going to everyone whether they had candy or not and lifted his bucket up to them. We had a great time at Andy's work.

We hit up about 4 houses in our neighborhood for the kids to get the real feeling of Tick or Treating. They just loved it.

Fall Activities- Part 4

We went to Wheeler Farms this last week with our friends April, Ashton and Cole. They all just had a blast. The first thing we ran into was tons of ducks. Etta loved running after them to try and catch'em. Gibson followed Etta running after the ducks then would look up at me and giggle.


We then headed to the tractors and they kids loved playing on them. Ashton and Etta shared a tractor until Gibby had his own and then Etta wanted Gibby's tractor. (Sibling rivalry)

We waited and waited for our turn on the real tractor. There were many groups there that kept getting on. We stayed busy with the animals and then finally we got our turn on the tractor ride. It was Ashton's favorite.

April took us over to Jason's Deli for some very delicious food! Thanks for playing with us April, Ashton and Cole.
